Man’s primary duty here on earth is to praise, to worship God.

Worship, giving, the giving of thanks is our primary responsibility before God. It is the purpose for which we are made.

(2 Cor 8:5 KJV) but first gave their own selves to the Lord,
Our motivation should be display the glory of God, to follow God’s leading and to worship and glorify Him, then I believe the Lord will bless the efforts we make to honor Him. God desires to be in relationship with us and we can respond to His love by worshiping Him. He will respond.
(Psa 22:3 KJV) But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.
Therefore
(Psa 47:6 KJV) Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises.
(Psa 47:7 KJV) For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding.
(Psa 56:12 KJV) Thy vows are upon me, O God: I will render praises unto thee.
(Psa 68:4 KJV) Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name JAH, and rejoice before him.
(Psa 68:32 KJV) Sing unto God, ye kingdoms of the earth; O sing praises unto the Lord; Selah:
(Psa 75:9 KJV) But I will declare for ever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.
(Psa 144:9 KJV) I will sing a new song unto thee, O God: upon a psaltery and an instrument of ten strings will I sing praises unto thee.
(Psa 146:2 KJV) While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.
(Psa 147:1 KJV) Praise ye the LORD: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely.
(Psa 149:6 KJV) Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand;
(Acts 16:25 KJV) And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.
Here is what you DO need to best praise Him:
– Most importantly is a heart that loves the Lord and a desire worship God.

– Music firstly that is the Bible Scriptures in Song.

Isn’t praise and worship just singing any songs to God? NO! Sincere, honest people still do get killed for in ignorance even doing what they were not supposed to be doing.

((2 Sam 6:5 KJV) And David and all the house of Israel played before the LORD on all manner of instruments made of fir wood, even on harps, and on psalteries, and on timbrels, and on cornets, and on cymbals. 6 And when they came to Nachon’s threshing floor, Uzzah put forth his hand to the ark of God, and took hold of it; for the oxen shook it. 7 And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Uzzah; and God smote him there for his error; and there he died by the ark of God.) (1 Chr 15:13 KJV) the LORD our God made a breach upon us, for that we sought him not after the due order.

THE WORD OF GOD CLEARLY SAYS WHAT SONGS WE ARE TO SING UNTO HIM.. EVEN PSALMS OF PRAISE, HIS WORDS..
(Eph 5:19 KJV) Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;

(Col 3:16 KJV) Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

(James 5:13 KJV) Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms.

God also desires that we ALL DO follow the pattern of praise and worship that King David hath set forth.Where David had used musical instruments.

The Tabernacle of David is the name given to the tent that King David set up on Mount Zion in Jerusalem to house the Ark of the Covenant. It was the center of a new order of joyful worship which stood in sharp contrast to the solemn worship of Moses’ Tabernacle The actual sacrifices offered instead at David’s Tabernacle were the sacrifices of praise, joy and thanksgiving, dancing, and prayers.. and can include feasting with food.. the tithe itself allowed for this as well.

(2 Sam 6:14 KJV) And David danced before the LORD with all his might; and David was girded with a linen ephod. 15 So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the LORD with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet. 16 And as the ark of the LORD came into the city of David, Michal Saul’s daughter looked through a window, and saw king David leaping and dancing before the LORD; and she despised him in her heart… 19 And he dealt among all the people, even among the whole multitude of Israel, as well to the women as men, to every one a cake of bread, and a good piece of flesh, and a flagon of wine. So all the people departed every one to his house. 20 Then David returned to bless his household. And Michal the daughter of Saul came out to meet David, and said, How glorious was the king of Israel to day, who uncovered himself to day in the eyes of the handmaids of his servants, as one of the vain fellows shamelessly uncovereth himself! 21 And David said unto Michal, It was before the LORD, which chose me before thy father, and before all his house, to appoint me ruler over the people of the LORD, over Israel: therefore will I play before the LORD. 22 And I will yet be more vile than thus, and will be base in mine own sight: and of the maidservants which thou hast spoken of, of them shall I be had in honour. 23 Therefore Michal the daughter of Saul had no child unto the day of her death.

(Psa 95:2 KJV) Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.

(Psa 100:4 KJV) Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

(Psa 141:2 KJV) Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.

The Tabernacle of David is GOD’S PATTERN, the type of the worship pattern for the New Testament Church.. This was not a Judaic cultural pattern, or solely an Old Testament Jewish type of worship, but rather it is worshiping God truly in body and Spirit. People not right with God would natural oppose this type of free worship in the Holy Spirit as King David’s wife Michal had wrongfully did.

(Acts 15:14 KJV) Simeon hath declared how God at the first did visit the Gentiles, to take out of them a people for his name.15 And to this agree the words of the prophets; as it is written,16 After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up:17 That the residue of men might seek after the Lord, and all the Gentiles, upon whom my name is called, saith the Lord, who doeth all these things. 18 Known unto God are all his works from the beginning of the world.

The sacrifices of the Church, the New Testament priesthood, are to be the sacrifices of praise, joy and thanksgiving. thanksgiving prayers, giving to others

(Heb 13:15 KJV) By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.

(1 Pet 2:9 KJV) But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light: 10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

In Revelation chapter 4 God opens a doorway into heaven. John shares this heavenly sight of angels, saints, elders, and strange creatures worshiping God. We have the opportunity right now in worship to enter this same throne room, commune with Almighty God and sense His presence in our lives. When we truly enter God’s presence we are never the same again.
Psalm 95: 2 Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song…. 6 Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the LORD our Maker.

Just like the psalmist said: “All that is within me give him praise” – PS 103. Let everything you have give the Lord the praise he deserves! Don’t hold back on loving your heavenly Father and giving Him Hallelujahs!

(Phil 3:1 KJV) Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe.

(Phil 4:4 KJV) Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.

The sacrifices of the Church, the New Testament priesthood, are to be the sacrifices of praise, joy and thanksgiving. dancing, thanksgiving prayers, giving to others I still do find it peculiar that some of the Biblical Psalms, Praise worship supporters would next wrongfully object to the Holy Spirit led praise, prayers, singing.. and why do they still wrongfully hate the Holy Spirit still so much? People not right with God would natural oppose this type of free worship in the Holy Spirit as King David’s wife Michal had wrongfully did. And why do they still wrongfully hate the Holy Spirit still so much? It is cause they are still rebellious, and legalistic Judiazers wrongfully trying to bring us back under their false laws, the law? I really really do think so!

(2 Sam 6:14 KJV) And David danced before the LORD with all his might; and David was girded with a linen ephod. 15 So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the LORD with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet. 16 And as the ark of the LORD came into the city of David, Michal Saul’s daughter looked through a window, and saw king David leaping and dancing before the LORD; and she despised him in her heart… 20 Then David returned to bless his household.

(1 Cor 14:15 KJV) What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.

(Gal 3:28 KJV) There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. (Col 3:10 KJV) And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:11 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.

(Gal 5:1 KJV) Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. (Rom 8:2 KJV) For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

(Gal 4:30 KJV) Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the free-woman.31 So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free.

(Ezek 19:1 KJV) Moreover take thou up a lamentation for the princes of Israel, 2 And say, What is thy mother? A lioness: she lay down among lions, she nourished her whelps among young lions. 3 And she brought up one of her whelps: it became a young lion, and it learned to catch the prey; it devoured men. 4 The nations also heard of him; he was taken in their pit, and they brought him with chains unto the land of Egypt. 5 Now when she saw that she had waited, and her hope was lost, then she took another of her whelps, and made him a young lion. 6 And he went up and down among the lions, he became a young lion, and learned to catch the prey, and devoured men. 7 And he knew their desolate palaces, and he laid waste their cities; and the land was desolate, and the foulness thereof, by the noise of his roaring. 8 Then the nations set against him on every side from the provinces, and spread their net over him: he was taken in their pit. 9 And they put him in ward in chains, and brought him to the king of Babylon: they brought him into holds, that his voice should no more be heard upon the mountains of Israel.

(1 Pet 5:8 KJV) Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:9 Whom resist steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

Why must we fully “Cast out the bondwoman and her son:” because the rebellious still fleshly, carnal oriented bond women, who was, is not subject to her husband and thus to God, has stiff future plans for her next also would be rebellious son that she wants to become rather the head of home, God’s church, and because this rebellion now still is as the sin of witchcraft.. even rebellion in the worship of God pattern… for which even King Saul was removed and King David put ito his place… the same sin of disobedience, rebellion for which Queen Vashti was removed and Esther took her place too.

(Est 1:19 KJV) If it please the king, let there go a royal commandment from him, and let it be written among the laws of the Persians and the Medes, that it be not altered, That Vashti come no more before king Ahasuerus; and let the king give her royal estate unto another that is better than she.20 And when the king’s decree which he shall make shall be published throughout all his empire, (for it is great,) all the wives shall give to their husbands honour, both to great and small.21 And the saying pleased the king and the princes; and the king did according to the word of Memucan:

(1 Sam 15:23 KJV) For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king. 24 And Saul said unto Samuel, I have sinned: for I have transgressed the commandment of the LORD, and thy words: because I feared the people, and obeyed their voice. 25 Now therefore, I pray thee, pardon my sin, and turn again with me, that I may worship the LORD. 26 And Samuel said unto Saul, I will not return with thee: for thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, and the LORD hath rejected thee from being king over Israel.

(Eph 5:23 KJV) For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

(Eph 5:24 KJV) Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.

Let may further say to you many so Called Christians do lie, even of the dispensational brethren type.

Some persons rightfully or wrongfully would say that breaking of Bread should be included in all worship services as well EVEN IN THE HOME ONES.. And some say it should be done very Sunday the fist day of the week only. The Bible says to some , “as often as ye meet” and not rather than just on the first day of the week

The actual verse rather says.. (1 Cor 11:26 KJV) For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do show the Lord’s death till he come.

(Acts 20:7 KJV) And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.

(Mat 26:26 KJV) And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. 27 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; 28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

(Acts 2:46 KJV) And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, 47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

You may still take it for granted, not full appreciate it, but God clearly has been promoting some of his great, valuable truths to us these days through these devotional too.

I do still rightfully hate it when ANY OF THE people distort, take away and add to the word of God and do not present the whole truth even in regards to Praise, worship, tongues, prophecy, tithing, healing, etc. That is why I have tried to present the full Biblical aspect of praise and worship by the Church now as well

What does Hallelujah REALLY mean? by Nathan Howard

Hallelujah is one of the most commonly used praise words today. Even many unsaved (non-christian) people use the word as an expression of joy. The word is also used in other faiths as well as christianity to mean “praise God!”, but what does the word really mean to God?
The word hallelujah is a hebrew word meaning praise God, its greek equivalent (used in the new testament) is Allelujah. Sometimes in this silly english language of ours, words aren’t really very descriptive. For example we only have one word for snow (you know… that white cold stuff that falls from the sky). But eskimos have many different words for snow because they have to describe it in different forms all the time. They have different words for snow when it’s falling, snow when its just fallen, snow that has hardened, snow that is mushy, snow that is dirty, snow that is from salt water, snow from fresh water and so on….
The same is true of the Hebrew language and the words that Israel uses for praise. We just have one english word for praise and just like the word we have for snow, it isn’t really very descriptive of the subject. Praise to God has even more diversity than snow.

The hebrew word Hallelujah is in fact made up of two Hebrew words: ‘Hallel’ and ‘Jah’. The second of these words, ‘jah’, means God as in the word ‘Yahweh’. So this indicates that the praise is directed to God personally. The first of these words, ‘hallel’, is one of at least seven hebrew words used to describe praise.

As with any praise to God, it must be lived as well as spoken. You can’t say “Praise God” with one breath and go and murder someone in the next minute! So the word Hallel indicates a lifestyle of LOVE. Just the same as a couple in love don’t really care what people around them think about how they are holding hands or hugging etc, if you are really praising God out of a love attitude (hallel), then you just won’t care what anyone thinks or what you look like when you are doing it. You might dance, you would certainly sing, you would probably be shouting and clapping your hands. You might even be crying when you do it! This is what happened to king David in 2Sam 6:14. He was so overjoyed that the presence of the Lord (the ark) was back in Israel that he didn’t even care what his wife thought about his praise!

I would encourage you to not limit your ‘love expression’ to God by what others think. Don’t limit it to a musical style. Don’t even limit your praise to Him by a body position. When we talk and get excited about people we use body language to express ourselves.

I just love the words to the Ron Kenoly song “Jesus is Alive”:

Hallelujah! Jesus is Alive! Death has lost it’s victory And the grave has been denied. Jesus lives forever – He’s alive! He’s Alive! He’s the Alpha and Omega, The first and last is He. The curse of sin is broken And we have perfect liberty. The lamb of God is risen. He’s Alive!
